MEDICAL CLINIC
A 29-member team from Woodlands Ev. Free Church in Stephens Point, WI came for a week in February. Along with volunteers from the church plant in Condevilla and the mother church El Buen Pastor [about 70 workers], 1400 patients were seen in 4 days of the clinic. Temperatures under the tent soared to 129 degrees. A new record for the clinic. Most importantly, we were able to share Christ through word and through action with the people of Condevilla.

Near Peru's south-central coast, AP Press reported a deadly magnitude-8 earthquake had struck on August 15, 2007. It destroyed some 40,000 homes and killed were more than 500 people.
More than a year later, Laura Bush visited Peru to see the results just before Thanksgiving. Many were still living in government-provided tents or makeshift wooden huts.
