This summer we have an exciting opportunity to gather together and explore "The Jesus Way". June 21-24, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas, the Spiritual Formation Alliance will partner with RENOVARÉ to present an International Conference on Spiritual Renewal. Eugene Peterson, Dallas Willard, John Ortberg, Max Lucado and other prominent speakers and participants will be exploring Jesus' way for us in the world.
The Conference takes its inspiration from Eugene Peterson's new book, The Jesus Way. Drawing from Peterson's life and work experience as a pastor, professor and author, this conference will "honor the ordinary, underscore the overlooked, tackle the tough issues, and provide the platform to rediscover the heart of all we do: Jesus."

DISCOVER YOUR SPIRITUAL FORMATION JOURNEY
Spiritual Formation is the process that takes place in the believer, as the life of the Spirit of God transforms our spirit through deepening intimacy with the Trinity, changing our being from the inside out into the likeness of Jesus Christ. Spiritual formation also involves the believer’s intentional response to God in this transformation process. The goal of this process in the believer is the reflection of God’s glory in a relationship of love with God and toward the world for which He died.

$110 per person if registered with $25 deposit by May 1st. After May 1st, $150 for all others. Price includes conference, lunch and dinner, snacks and coffee.

| Affect Your World the Way Jesus did His God gifts leaders with authenticity and authority through their intimacy with Him. As a leader, your ministry effectiveness and longevity are directly related to the degree of your transformation into the likeness of Jesus. And, since what you have to pour out comes directly from what God has done and is doing in your life, your own Spiritual Formation will provide the foundation of personal ministry to others. That is the life to which we are called.
Why the focus on leaders?
Personal intimacy with the Trinity lived out in authentic community are key to the process of spiritual formation. Leaders can only lead where they have been. Lasting change can only happen in a church when it has first happened in its leadership.
