Pittsburgh is host to the meeting of the G-20 nations on September 24th and 25th. The focus of this international gathering will be on the worldwide economic recession.
President Obama will chair this meeting of leaders from countries around the world that represent 85 percent of the worlds economy. At the Pittsburgh G-20 Summit, leaders will review the progress made since the Washington and London Summits and discuss further actions to assure a sound and sustainable recovery from the global financial and economic crisis. Students from across the region will also participate in their own G-20 student summit.
About the Prayer Initiative The theme of the campaign is 2 Chron 7:14: "and My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
